Problem
A group of content creators wanted to professionalize their image for their audience
A group of friends decided to start a content creation company. Their goal is to launch with a more professional image than their competitors, conveying credibility and commitment to their audience.
Solution
A platform that brings together all the content and monetization methods of content creators
All content in one place
Listen to podcasts in a personalized way.
See the latest content that has been released.
Check out the community updates.

Quick access to products
Organize all the group’s products.
Buy quickly and securely.
Get something personalized from the team.

Space for fan donations
Quickly access all the ways to support the group.
See everyone who has already supported the creators.

Competitive analysis
The competition keeps their content and monetization methods scattered
Most content creators start as a hobby and gradually find ways to monetize their creations. As a result, their content and revenue streams end up scattered across multiple platforms, making it a tiring experience for the audience to find more content and financially support their creators.

User interview
Creators need practicality and organization to retain their clients
Looking through communities of content creators of different levels of popularity, I contacted various users who were willing to talk. In these meetings, I noticed something very relevant.

Analysis & Planning
Do what the best do, but keep everything in one place
Research has shown us that when a follower likes the content and is in a position to support its creator in some way, they will do so. However, this task cannot be exhausting, as it discourages the person. With this conclusion, we applied the Canvas and User Journey methodologies.
Canva
Gain creator: All the projects from these creators in one place.
Products and services: Entertainment, Store & Donations.
Pain relief: A simple, organized, and dynamic platform.

User Journey Map
To understand and map out the entire process of a person, from getting to know them to becoming a fan who financially supports content creators.

Testing & Improvements
Planing + Sketching + Testing
After understanding what needed to be done, sketches were drawn, information architectures were organized, screens were created, and usability tests with people both inside and outside the team were conducted.

Improving
We presented the platform to understand the performance of a group of non-experts
A podcast listener, a YouTube user, a livestream fan, and the mother of one of the participants — who was familiar with online shopping — were chosen to test the platform. After the test, they were asked which websites they were used to visiting and what their relationship with online shopping was.

Lessons
What I'll do differently next time
Use different interview methodologies. Although I was able to find a diverse range of collaborators to participate in research and tests, my methods for finding them and conducting the meetings were not as efficient as they could have been. Therefore, I need to study different methodologies to optimize my time and generate more valuable results.
Define the color combination on the platform well before prototyping. Something I didn’t consider much before this project was how thinking in advance about color application can affect the usability of the screens once they stop being wireframes. When a platform has more than two main colors, it’s important to create a visual balance between each tone to allow a smoother transition between the prototype and the final product.
