Problem
Finding and approaching new leads is time-consuming and requires several tools
A programmer noticed that many of his colleagues in the sales department complain about the difficulty of using various tools to find potential clients for their companies and create approaches for each of them. This made him think: How can I solve this problem? And can I turn this solution into a business opportunity?
Solution
Consolidate the entire process into a single tool for B2B companies
Find your leads more easily
Search by segment and region.
View the main contact information of your potential clients.
Save the companies of greatest interest and approach them later.

Create customized approaches
Organize and personalize all your approach strategies.
Use AI to facilitate the process.
Maintain control of the entire process collaboratively with your team.

Keep your notes organized
Have all your leads recorded in one single location.
Custom tables with the entire schedule of approaches for each lead.
Import your old tables and keep the new ones in one single location.

Competitive analysis
The competition only focuses on solving one part of the process
We analyzed software that deals with processes related to leads. During our research, we found some useful tools for finding potential clients, organizing their lists, and creating schedules, but none of them performed all of these functions.

User interview
Sellers need organization and practicality when seeking clients
The developer had already conducted interviews with individuals from the sales department of two companies. My role was to transform these results into a customer profile for the product.

Analysis & Planning
To seek, gather, organize, plan, and monitor. These are the important steps
The customer profile was used to develop the Proposition Canvas methodologies to verify if the company's solution aligned with these needs. Then, all the user's touchpoints with the experience were mapped.
Canva
Gain creator: All the tools you need in one place.
Products and services: Familiar features.
Pain relief: A simple, organized software with fast performance.

User Journey Map
The mapping of all touchpoints throughout the entire usability period of the app was established to make the delivery experience as efficient and pleasant as possible.

Design
The product that we are truly going to make
The process of searching for leads is vital for companies. Therefore, a tool like this must be used in the work environment where the individual is focused on that long and complex task. Thus, it should be a product aimed at the desktop experience. Therefore, software has proven to be the most efficient option.
Testing & Improvements
Planing + Sketching + Testing
Having defined the project's structure, it was time for planning and testing. Several designs were created to develop a smooth and intuitive user journey. In addition, numerous sketches were made to create screens that would facilitate the creation of the wireframes.

Improving
Test product clarity and understand how visuals can improve the experience
Three unknown individuals were selected to test the app. The premise of the tool was explained before the test, and the participants had to use it without any further explanations. The results were used as a basis for modifications.

Lessons
What I'll do differently next time
This was a unique project for me. I wasn’t involved in its conception, so I had to adapt to what had already been done up to that point. On one hand, it was quite convenient, but it also taught me some valuable lessons:
Don’t be afraid to question the data already gathered. When joining a project where research has already been conducted, it’s essential to understand how the process unfolded. There are many valid methodologies for each context, but sometimes you may have knowledge unknown to the team that could significantly enhance the final product.
Quick adaptation is essential. When joining an ongoing project, you can’t slow down the process. It’s crucial to communicate well with the team from the start so that everyone shares the same knowledge and can work at the same pace.
Research the project’s subject thoroughly. The term "Leads" and the entire process around it were entirely unfamiliar to me. So, my first step was to understand the subject in depth. You need to put yourself in the user’s shoes, and that won’t happen if you have no idea how they think. Therefore, understand the topic to be able to solve their problems.
